Certified Staff:

HS Mathematics Teacher - Applicants must possess a dynamic teaching style and a student centered philosophy. Candidate must have a commitment to ensuring all students succeed at their highest level and the ability to ensure that this occurs. Applicant should demonstrate commitment to partnerships with all stakeholders, to include colleagues, families, and our community. Candidate will be responsible for providing math curriculum to students, coordinating with school counselor for standardized testing, performing district-wide testing, and a variety of related duties. Our school is in the top 10% in the state on ACT scores. Class sizes average 12 students. Starting pay is DOE up to 5 years after tenure, candidate may bring in all years of experience The district pays a one-time $1500 signing bonus. Candidates are eligible for MT student loan repayment of up to $12,000. A full Basic MUST plan is paid by the district and additional stipends are available for those willing to take on additional duties. The district functions on a 4 day school week. We are a 1:1 technology school and have a Smart Board in every classroom. School owned housing is available, first come, first served, at very low cost, within walking distance of the school. If you have a Bachelor's Degree in any field and would like to become a teacher, we will get you temporarily licensed and pay for your additional education for a 5 year commitment. If you are going to be a college senior next year, we will pay for your senior year and pay you to teach for a 5 year commitment.

Additional Information:

The community of Jordan, Montana is situated 90 miles north of Miles City Montana. It is an idyllic ranching community in the world famous Missouri River Breaks. One of the last places in the West where you can still experience true western culture; brandings, rodeos, and a variety of other ranching related activities take place throughout the year if one wishes to experience the West firsthand. For those with an interest in the outdoors, the area is home to phenomenal hunting opportunities for elk, deer, antelope, waterfowl, and upland game. Fishing and Watersports opportunities are there for the taking on the Ft. Peck reservoir, with some of the best fishing in the state of Montana. There are dinosaur digs to take part in every summer, with some of the most significant finds in the US coming from our Hell Creek Formation. For those wishing to see the West as it was when Lewis and Clark came up the Missouri River, you can walk or ride horse forever while looking at some of the most beautiful country the US has to offer. Jordan is the county seat of Garfield County and has all of the amenities one would expect. If one desires to see the bright lights of the city, Billings, Montana is a short drive to the south. Billings has everything one might expect of a large metropolitan area and is just far enough away to be convenient, but not too close.
